MMC -A new turn to the journey of discovery
Established in 2010, Malabar Medical College & Research Centre with a campus spreading over 32 acres of land provides all the most modern facilities in the health care industry to the people of North Kerala. Since its inception, MMC has been on a tireless journey of discovering new ways to ensure wellness for all. They have constantly changed according to the new advances in technology, medicine and research.
We were asked to refresh the brand to reflect their collective value systems. Following a thorough study about the consumer behavior and approach of North Keralites towards the Healthcare Industry, we developed the whole brand materials all fronted by a new logo and tagline.
The management also realized it is important to enhance the way they communicate with its consumers. Consumers are more empowered now than they have ever been; they have access to more information on treatment and a wider range of providers. This means healthcare brands are compelled to embrace the same strategies as their retail counterparts, redoubling their marketing efforts to improve patient engagement. The brand strategy doesn’t stop once you get patients in the door, either. Patient satisfaction mandates have made the consumer-centric healthcare model the new standard of care.
‘Discover a new life’ — the management was impressed by the theme and gave the green light to proceed with further development.
Since then, it was a journey of discovering new life to MMC and to whatever represented the hospital. We developed the designs for interior graphics, separate uniforms for each department, signboards, ambulance branding, brochures, press and magazine adverts, billboards and more.
The new face of MMC beautifully represented their commitment to excellence and quality in healthcare.
